Our Story
Back in 2008, a visionary with years of experience at Yenepoya Education Group, Mr Farhaad Yenepoya, dreamed up Little Discoveries, in collaboration with iDiscoveri Education as the curriculum partner.
The principal philosophy behind it was to create a one-of-a-kind learning environment for children — with hands-on learning experience, a low mentor-child ratio, and a strong focus on holistic learning and development.
Mr Farhaad noticed a stark vacuum in activity-based learning at a preschool in Calicut. And so, with years of experience in the educational field behind him at Yenepoya Educational Group, it was his calling for him to branch out to Kerala with Little Discoveries. We started in 2008 under the name iDiscoveri Preschool which was later changed to Little Discoveries Preschool.
Our Mission
At Little Discoveries, we believe every child is a star, and no two stars are the same; each child is unique and shines differently. We facilitate each one of them with the ability to shine and inhibit lifelong learning through a learning environment that develops their intelligence holistically.
Our curriculum is based on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences; boosting confidence, motivating curiosity, and holistic learning are our key objectives. We believe in creating and fostering hands-on learning experiences for every child that will ignite their innate curiosity and drive to grow.
